About the PSO

Our Purpose

Valor Leander Parent Service Organization

The Valor Leander PSO is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to supporting the students, faculty, and staff of Valor Leander. We work in close partnership with school administration and families to enhance the educational experience and foster a strong, vibrant school community — grounded in the principles of classical education and a shared commitment to virtue, wisdom, and lifelong learning.

What We Do

Our efforts are focused on four key areas of service:

Supporting Faculty & Staff

We organize teacher appreciation events, coordinate classroom volunteers, and help fulfill classroom needs so our educators feel valued and well-resourced.

Enhancing Student Life

The PSO helps organize and support activities and events that enrich the student experience and complement Valor's classical curriculum.

Building Community

We create meaningful opportunities for parents and families to connect through social events, informational meetings, and volunteer initiatives.

Fundraising

We raise funds to support school projects, provide classroom resources, and contribute to the broader mission of Valor Leander.

Get Involved

Every Valor Leander parent is automatically a member of the PSO. We encourage you to get involved in any way that fits your schedule and interests — whether that is volunteering your time, attending events, or contributing to fundraising efforts. Your participation directly benefits our students and strengthens our unique school culture.

Before volunteering or joining an active PSO role, please review our volunteering page to understand the requirements and current opportunities available.
