About the PSO
Our Purpose
Valor's PSO exists to support and enrich the school community through purposeful service, meaningful partnership, and active engagement. We strive to uphold the school’s values by fostering a spirit of unity among parents, staff, and students by working together to serve with excellence, humility, and joy.
What We Do
Our efforts are focused on three key areas of service:
Supporting Faculty & Staff
We organize teacher appreciation events, coordinate classroom volunteers, and help fulfill classroom needs so our educators feel valued and well-resourced.
Enhancing Student Life
The PSO helps organize and support activities and events that enrich the student experience and complement Valor's classical curriculum.
Building Community
We create meaningful opportunities for parents and families to connect through social events, informational meetings, and volunteer initiatives.
Get Involved
Every Valor Leander parent is automatically a member of the PSO. We encourage you to get involved in any way that fits your schedule and interests — whether that is volunteering your time, attending events, or contributing to fundraising efforts. Your participation directly benefits our students and strengthens our unique school culture.
Before volunteering or joining an active PSO role, please review our volunteering page to understand the requirements and current opportunities available.

Lauren Amani
A super mom of two, proud wife of a Texas Ranger (law enforcement, not baseball, y’all), and an accomplished finance & operations professional. As a dedicated leader and volunteer with the Valor Leander PSO, she combines her strengths in budgeting, planning, communication, and event coordination to help create meaningful experiences for students, staff, and families. Whether she’s managing finances, organizing large-scale events, solving operational challenges, or supporting her community, Lauren brings energy, efficiency, and a genuine heart for service to everything she does.
Ashley Hollister
A sports mom of three who spends her days navigating two campuses and a nonstop schedule filled with soccer, competitive cheer, football, and everything in between. Since 2023, Ashley has proudly served as a PSO Co-Chair, supporting scholars, families, and faculty since Valor Leander first opened its doors. By day, she's a part-time receptionist at Crystal Falls; by passion, she's an event-planning and organization powerhouse who thrives on bringing people together.
Known for her love of serving others, building community, and making endless lists to keep life on track, Ashley believes organization is truly her jam. Friendly, energetic, and always ready to chat, she brings heart, humor, and dedication to every event and every family she supports through the PSO.
Laura Monroe
A super mom of three, dual-campus driving champion, and self-proclaimed carpool ninja who somehow keeps it all running smoothly. As a proud "cat foster fail" mom, Laura's heart for caring extends far beyond her home and into the Valor community. From planning Upper School and Kauffman IHP events to stretching every dollar with budget-savvy creativity, she has been a driving force behind the PSO for the past two years. Armed with her Cricut machine, endless craft ideas, and unmatched dedication, Laura brings organization, creativity, and community spirit to everything she touches.
